How are changes made?
- Changes are made using 'Track Changes' in Microsoft Word, 'Editing/Suggesting' in Google Drive and comments in PDFs
What type of documents are you able to edit?
- Word docs and Google Drive are preferred
How do I send documents to you?
- Word Docs are sent as attachments, zip files, DropBox or as shared docs in Google Drive. Find out more here.
How do you edit websites?
- Oversight Editing & Proofreading can log directly into your content management system, or
- Copied files will be emailed back to to you
How long does editing and proofreading take?
How long is a piece of string?
Editing takes longer, as I am adjusting your English language usage to contemporary styles
Proofreading is the final cut; short and quick
For small documents and websites, both are rolled into one
5000 words per day per client is about the limit, assuming 1000 words per hour with minimal copy-editing
How do I pay you?
- Australian businesses are invoiced on completion and acceptance of the work. Terms 14 days
- If you do not have an Australian Business Number (ABN), payment will be required upon acceptance of an agreed portion of completed work, either via direct deposit or PayPal
- International clients are required to pay via PayPal upon acceptance of an agreed portion of completed work
